If the problem persists, your graphics card may not support video overlay. The other day, for the first time I tried to play a blu-ray disk and the app failed in both computers. I've been playing dvd movies since the upgrade. Each machine has an internal blu-ray/dvd player. I have two desktop computers I've upgraded to Windows 10 (in mid August).
